Gender 101: How to Support Trans Youth

What’s the difference between sex and gender?

  • Are transgender teens a fad?

  • What’s up with pronouns?

  • Is queer a bad word?

  • What can I do to support trans kids?

Get the answers to these questions and more in our signature workshop, Gender 101: How to Support Trans Youth, presented live online Wednesday, July 12, at 7:00 p.m.

We’ll explore basic gender vocabulary and concepts, concrete ways to support trans kids, and how to turn allyship into action. There will also be plenty of time for Q&A with Mandy after the presentation.

This workshop is for:

  • Parents and caregivers early in their journey

  • Extended family members of transgender children/young adults

  • Allies wanting to support trans youth and their families
