Parenting Trans Kids in Tough Times webinar
If you missed the last "Parenting Trans Kids in Tough Times" webinar, you're in luck, because Part II is just around the corner!
Join us for Parenting Trans Kids in Tough Times: Find Your People on April 10 from 4-6pm PDT / 6-8pm CDT.
It’s a tough time for transgender people and those of you who love and support them, as hateful anti-trans messaging and policy-making seek to drive them back out of public life. But trans people have a long history of mobilizing resources and fighting for recognition and inclusion. We’ll be talking about the importance of community and how to find it.
I’ll be in good company with Dr. Travers (Simon Frasier University), Dr. j wallace skelton (University of Regina, and Dr. Syrus Marcus Ware (McMaster University).
The webinar is free and includes lots of time for questions but will not be recorded.

Pronoun Practice Mini-Sessions!
To celebrate International Pronouns Day on October 16, Parents of Trans Youth is offering Pronoun Practice private mini sessions for a LIMITED TIME ONLY!
It’s hard to use new pronouns. We all mess up. But practicing is how we become better!

In just 20 minutes, you’ll learn:
• How to use YOUR child’s pronouns in conversation
• What to do if you make a mistake (because we all make them!)
• How to share your child’s pronouns with other people (if you have permission)
You’ll get:
• 20 minutes of live, private, 1:1 pronoun practice with Mandy
• 2 videos on the importance of pronouns to prep for our time together
• Recording of your session
• Additional resources for practice and learning
These sessions are for parents, grandparents, family members, or loved ones of trans kids (or adult children) who are ready to practice!
Don’t sleep on this because I’m offering the sessions for ONLY FOUR DAYS leading up to International Pronouns Day on October 16.
